Why does checkout show a charge for duties on tariff-free shipments under the (Canada-US-Mexico CUSMA) agreement?
While no tariff is owed on CUSMA-certified goods, with the end of the $800 de minimis exemption in the U.S.A. every parcel must go through a brokerage and be handled by US Customs. As a result, a charge is now levied on every U.S. order based on fees set by those organizations, for the services it rendered. Zipperloft has no control over these fees and are added automatically.

PREFER PICKUP?
Zipperloft is happy to provide curbside pickup for local residents of Durham and Scarborough.
If your address is in the pickup catchment area, you will be presented with a Local Pickup option at checkout. By choosing that, we will notify you via email (or text) when your order is ready. We can arrange a pickup date and time that suits you, and directions to our address and any pickup particulars will be confirmed then.
If you are outside the catchment area but coming to Pickering and want pickup, place your order and contact Dan to let him know. The shipping charged will be refunded after pickup.
DAMAGE
We inspect every item before shipping to ensure your order is in pristine condition when it leaves our office. That said, Zipperloft has a no-hassle return policy.
Contact us at sales@zipperloft.ca within 14 days of receipt of your order, together with photo(s) and description showing the problem. Be sure to include your order number in your email. If the issue is a defective item, we will either replace the item or refund the item cost once it has been returned to our office.
RETURNS - Stock Items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide your order number, email, and shipping address as proof of purchase. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected it. If the refund is approved, it will be credited back via your original payment method. Please remember it can take a few days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
